MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health & Technical Common Entrance Test)
The MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The degree courses of the following streams are mainly accounted for in this entrance exam: Health Sciences and Pharmacy.
The admission is dependent on the scores received by an individual on the basis of merit.
MHT - CET Test Formats
The test is conducted in offline mode. Candidate may take up practice sessions available online.
Candidates should be an Indian National or should have appeared from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational subject and should have a minimum of 45 % or 40 % marks (only for Backward class categories or with disability only to Maharashtra State). Also the candidate needs to have a non-zero score in subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology added together.
