NCHMCT JEE (NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR HOTEL MANAGEMENT AND CATERING TECHNOLOGY Joint Entrance Examination)
National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (Society) was set up in the year 1982 by the Government of India as an autonomous body for coordinated growth and development of hospitality education in the country.
The NCHMCT JEE examination assists the students in getting admissions to various Hotel Management related universities.
The scores that the individual receive based on the results and seat availability the student’s gets admissions in the desired university.
NCHMCT JEE test formats
- Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude: 30 questions
- Reasoning and Logical Deduction: 30 questions
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 30 questions
- English Language: 60 questions
- Aptitude for Service Sector: 50 question
Students applying for the exam should have passed 10+2 with English as one of the subjects. They must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination. Also 10+2 appeared students may apply subject to passing their exam and providing proper documentation to the NCHMCT JEE to appear for the exams.
The upper age limit for General and OBC students is 22 years as on July 1, 2015. Aspirants born on or after July 01, 1993 are eligible.
For applicants from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories, the upper age limit is 25 years. SC/ST candidates born on or after July 1, 1990 are eligible.
Upper age limit for students having Physically Disabilities will be calculated as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC.
